New Hope Road Bridge Replacement at Grizzly Slough
Background
SacDOT is replacing the New Hope Road Bridge at Grizzly Slough Project. The project is expected to last until December 2026. The construction will demolish and replace New Hope Road Bridge which will include grading and paving of approach roadways approximately 400’ on either side of New Hope Road Bridge. The construction will also provide rock slope protection along with embankment and shoulder grading.
Project Funding
The reconstruction cost for New Hope Road bridge is $4,536,070. and is funded by the Federal Highway Bridge Program (HBP) and Sacramento County Road Fund.
Road Closure
Friday, April 10, 2026 to Novembe 30, 2026
New Hope Road will be closed from Orr Road to W. New Hope Road
