South Watt Avenue Road Closure Information

In order to allow for work at the intersection of Fruitridge Road and South Watt Avenue, the intersection of Fruitridge Road and South Watt Avenue will be closed for up to five consecutive nights beginning 7:00pm to 6:00am starting Monday, March 23, 2026.

Traffic will be directed to use alternate routes during the closure period.  Access will be maintained to those businesses located on the corners of the intersection through existing driveways during the closures; however, the intersection will be closed to all traffic.

Detour:

Traffic normally traveling on South Watt Avenue between Jackson Road or Elder Creek Road can either take Hedge Avenue or Florin Perkins Road to bypass the closure.  We appreciate your patience as we work to complete this important project.
